Dj Salinger

Dj Salinger is a project I started for the Tapeworm, a cassette label based in London and Berlin.

The project revisits popular songs from the past to present them as a distant fading memory, a blurry version of what they once were.

I’m always working on new Dj Salinger pieces and will be posting them here.

Voyage voyage voyage

Dj Salinger started as an abstract mixtape project for The Tapeworm.

The first release under this moniker is a cassette entitled “Voyage, voyage, voyage” and proposes to revisit a time in French pop music (the 80’s “variétés”, France’s own brand of synth pop), in a completely subjective way, where the music is presented as a fading memory of what it once was.

The cassette was very successful and is now sold out, but there is a digital version available here.
