Franz Kirmann is a French electronic music producer, composer and recording artist based in London.
He is also a lecturer in music production with Ableton and production analysis at Point Blank music school.
His music has been released on Mercury KX / Decca, Bytes / Ransom Note, Denovali Records and Tapeworm amongst other labels, and has been featured in various publications such as Vogue (US), Libération (France) or Electronic Sound (UK)
His work, often textural and atmospheric explores the fusion of organic and electronic sounds in a cinematic aesthetic.
Kirmann also composes for TV and media - notable credits include BBC series McMafia and BAFTA winner for best documentary Locked In: Breaking The Silence for BBC Storyville. His latest project, a documentary series entitled “Seeking Satoshi” is currently streaming on Channel 4 in the UK.
