Learn Electronic Music

Ableton Live

This course teaches you everything you need to know to confidently make electronic music and is taught with Ableton Live. You will start making your own tracks on your computer in no time.

The sessions are one to one in my home studio in South West London with my two cats / studio assistants Elio and Florence* but can also be conducted on line via Zoom.

You will learn how to make beats, program MIDI melodies, bass lines and chords, effects, audio recording, sampling / warping, arranging and structuring, essential mixing skills as well as midi controllers (Push and Akai APC40). We will also look at subtractive synthesis and the course can be extended to modular systems should you wish. There are plenty of analog synthesisers as well to learn to program, record and use in your compositions.
